IMPORTANT UPDATE — March 2026

Ayrshire Food Hub (our farm shop and cafe) has permanently closed.

Crossroads Community Hub — the charity — continues to operate from the same site. Our community programmes, classes, and activities are ongoing and all are welcome.

We are planning the next chapter for our building and community space. Look out for updates below.

Welcome to Crossroads Community Hub

Ayrshire Food Hub is located within the agricultural heartland of the west of Scotland. Located just outside Hurlford, the Hub is home to a development kitchen, meeting room, and a growing garden, offering a fantastic selection of food and drink sourced from throughout the local region.

With our parent charity, Crossroads Community Hub Limited – at the heart of the project, our Centre is accessible to everyone. Exercise and health classes, leisure activities and learning opportunities – we have created a dynamic hub of activity where members of our community can flourish and grow.

We’re Hiring!

Our café is here

We have opened the doors to the café and offer you all a warm welcome! Whether it’s a quick bite for breakfast, brunch with friends, a laid-back lunch or somewhere to take the kids, our Ayrshire café is open to everyone.

Nestled in the Irvine Valley, we find ourselves located amongst many great local producers. So it only makes sense that we would make the most of all that fresh local produce ourselves! The friendly faces at our Ayrshire café will offer up coffees, cakes, snacks and more. We use ingredients either from our own growing areas or supplied by trusted local producers in a sustainable and responsible way. Seasonal produce will be used in hearty family favourites, from a menu developed by our classically trained lead chef, our expert baker, and the rest of our team in the kitchen.
