Italy meets Ayrshire in this hands-on cooking lesson where you will learn with Gloria, our in-house Italian baker at the Hub and founder of Madebyflour, how to prepare gnocchi, a typical Italian potato-based delicacy, which we will be making with our in-season Ayrshire tatties, of course!
At the end of the lesson, we will enjoy together at the Hub our freshly made gnocchi prepared “alla Sorrentina”, an authentic recipe from Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, with tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella. You will also take home some gnocchi and the recipes with all the secrets!
One soft drink of your choice is included, but if you would like a glass of fizz please feel free to bring your own booze!
The class will last approximately 2 hours. The lesson is suitable for all levels of experience.
Recipes in the class include egg and gluten, but the lesson is also suitable for gluten free, as we can easily replace the plain flour with a gluten free alternative!
