Our onsite growing garden gives visitors an insight into the growing and harvesting process that is central to our project. A learning opportunity for curious minds and a space for mindfulness for others.

Have a wander around the gardens to see how some of the fresh produce you eat at home grows. We grow a wide selection of vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers.

There’s even a “see through” potato bed to let you see the potatoes swelling under the ground!

Learn about Growing Your Own

We’ve got educational signs dotted about the gardens to teach about the different plants and growing techniques.  If you have questions and see the gardener, she loves to chat!

We have been successful in being awarded a grant from the Ayrshire Rural & Islands Ambition Fund (ARIA) for maintenance. Our plan of action as to how we will spend the maintenance fund, is needed repairs to small areas of the timber floor in the Café to prevent trip hazards and repair damaged areas to the walls of the Café caused by chair backs and hangings on the walls to freshen up the appearance of the Café and the environment for our customers to enjoy even more.
