Defibrillator
There are circa 30k out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually. Having a defibrillator means treatment can be provided to someone having a heart attack while awaiting an ambulance which greatly increases their chance of survival. Emergency services will advise 999 callers on the venue of their nearest defibrillator. We are grateful to East Ayrshire Council for donating a Defib which we have mounted on the wall just as you turn into Ayrshire Food Hub for easy 24/7 access.
